One of the world’s most influential photographers, William Klein is a pioneer of street photography. He also created some of the 20th century’s most iconic fashion images. As a filmmaker, Klein embraced his affinity for both documentary and fashion, making over 20 films including the first documentary about Muhammad Ali and Who Are You Polly Magoo?, a satire of the fashion world. In anticipation of his 2012 exhibition at Tate Modern, BBC produced a one hour documentary on Klein’s career that includes personal interviews as well as a look inside his studio.
