Owning nearly 4,500 cameras, Dilish Parekh is the Guinness World Record holder for the Largest Collection of Cameras in the world. Filmmaker Dheerankur Upasak takes us into the collection and obsession of Parekh in his film “The Light Collector.” After receiving a camera as a gift from his grandfather, Parkeh began accumulating cameras at an astonishing rate, generally paying less than $15 for each. In the film Parekh discusses his collection, pointing out a few gems like his Leica 250 Reporter, worth an estimated $80,000. "You name the camera," he says, "I have it."
