Don’t Take Pictures strives to showcase the work of emerging photographers. In addition to publishing photography in print, and online in our monthly columns, we also publish quarterly online exhibitions.
By high dive, wading, or rope swing, however they enter the water, swimmers have been subject matter for photographers since the early days of the medium. Dive In is an online exhibition inspired by those who swim in waters shallow and deep. The water offers myriad reflections and distortions of the human from figure aimless floating to competitive backstroke. Whether poolside, seaside, or lake lounging, for this show Don’t Take Pictures seeks photographs of swimmers.
The exhibition will be published online from May 22 — August 20.
