For the past 20 years, Nicholas Syracuse has traveled America’s back roads photographing drifters, train hoppers, and runaways. Finding a sense of camaraderie with his subjects, Syracuse struggles to balance his domestic life and his traveler life. Traveler is a film by Nick Hartanto and Sam Roden that follows Syracuse for part of this two-decade journey. Traveler premiered at the Ashland Independent Film Festival in April and will continue on its festival run throughout 2016.
