We lend a hand to help others, hand things off, grasp ideas, and give a hand to show approval. Our identities are written on our palms and our emotions revealed through gesture. Through our hands we can communicate, sense, and interact with the world. We raise our hands to be counted and in solidarity. By a show of hands, Don’t Take Pictures presents photographs of this expressive part of the human body.
