Exhibition Opportunity: Lumens

Photo: Diana H. Bloomfield

Don’t Take Pictures exists to showcase the work of emerging photographers. In addition to publishing photographers in print, and online in our monthly columns, we also publish online quarterly exhibitions.

Known for luminous and ethereal aesthetic, lumen photography is a camera-less process in which objects are placed on top of unexposed black-and-white photographic paper and exposing to UV light. The images produce different colors depending on the paper’s age, material, and manufacturer, to create a one-of-a-kind photographic object. For this exhibition, Don’t Take Pictures seeks contemporary photographs in the lumen process.

The exhibition will be published online from August 22 – November 20, 2018.

Deadline: August 19
